Hokuso Railway will release the “Hokuso Line 1-day ticket” (for adults and children), which can be used for a longer period than usual to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The “Hokuso Line 1-day pass” for the year-end and New Year will be on sale on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays from December 19, 2020 (Saturday) to January 31, 2021 (Sunday) / December 30 (Wednesday) and 31 (Thursday). It will be sold at each station counter on the Hokuso Line and at the Keisei-Takasago Station commuter pass office, and you can get on and off the entire Hokuso Line (between Keisei-Takasago Station and Imba Nihon-idai Station) for one day only on the day of sale.
The “Hokuso Line 1-day pass”, which is released every year for the year-end and New Year holidays, can be used for about 7 days every year, but in 2020, it will be used for a total of 18 days. That allows you going out while avoiding dense conditions as much as possible. In addition, depending on the situation of the spread of COVID-19 in the future, the sale may be suspended or canceled.
The price is 1,000 yen for the “Hokuso Line 1-day ticket” (for adults) and 100 yen for the “Hokuso Line 1-day ticket (Go out by train! Supporting ticket)” (for children). Hokuso Railway explained that the price for children was set at “100 yen, the same as in the fall, in order to cheer up children who cannot go out easily.” As a special benefit limited to the “Hokuso Line 1-day ticket (Go out by train! Supporting ticket)” for children, you will receive a “paper craft (type 7500 train)” when you answer the questionnaire distributed at the time of purchase.
The Hokuso Line for the year-end and New Year holidays will be operated on “Weekends / Holidays timetable” from December 30 (Wednesday) to January 3 (Sunday). No overnight operation will held on New Year’s Eve.
